Thanks the screen came from Heritage.

 

I dont know, i bought it from a firm breaking a danbury on ebay, I was hoping that there may be have been something special about it, but other than the decal on the front it is a hazard light switch, If i were to do it again i'd just but another rear heated screen switch, i have it feeding 2 relays (one for either side of the screen) so any amperage switch would have done.

 

Yeah i put it on the main feed from the leisure battery, (only because i wanted other stuff up front powered by the lb) I then used 2 30amp relays one for each side ( i believe the whole screen takes about 45amps), But so as it cant be switched on without the ignition being on (engine running) or forgotten after turning off the engine, because that would kill the battery to quickly i reckon, i ran the switch side of the circuit and the relay from the vehicle battery.

I had wanted to to put it on a timer relay but it started to become too complicated to be bothered with.
