  3. They were one of the better ones I found,
But hey ho … that’s probably why .

Wonder what the story is, to decide to shut down on a Sunday without even trying to sell the business.
The brand must be worth something.

Depends how much debt it's saddled with.
Their no phone policy didn't do them any favours.

That’s a shame, although I haven’t bought anything from them for more than 10 ten years.

I preferred to contact them by email. If a company doesn’t answer an email, they don’t get my business.

Shan't be getting my back order shock absorber then !

  9. It’s a shame good company but some like to speak to somebody in person a little advice is always a bonus that’s why Alan S does a trade great service and advice. The company I work for moto is customers make paydays possible. A lot of companies could use that advice no customers no company, seems lacking these days.

  10. What a pity :( I only just received an order last week, promptly as usual.

Not even an attempt to sell the stock, I suppose one of the other traders will pick their stock over at a discount.

  11. Looks like bankruptcy forcing their hand

  12. That is odd. M7 were my faves. Wonder why it was so abrupt.

Sorry to see any business close, many a household breadwinner will be loosing an income and the family suffer as a result , hope they sort a new post soon .
As far as we the consumer are concerned , the market has narrowed for us to choose from and becoming a monopoly and that can only mean a lack of choice and an increase in prices and possibly delayed supply to the doorstep.

  14. A receiver would usually try and run the business first as a going concern, it must be bad if even this didn't happen, unless it has and it hasn't been made public?

What a shame. I always found them helpful and prompt via email. :(

  16. Could be they sold up to the likes of heritage etc and signed an NDA

  17. I was thinking the same. You don't just shut up shop. Creditors to pay etc if you genuinely are stopping trading.

Real shame. M7 were the slickest of the lot IMO.

Ah bugger. Was just about to order some wheel studs for the bug from them as well!

  19. Yep, could be they just sold up to a competitor, liquidation of the old business then becomes somebody else's problem.

But it's odd that they have made no effort to pay off their creditors. Get your money back from the CC company, that tells a story in itself.
