I was driving up the A1 dual carriageway bit North of Peterborough a few years back and hit a queue of cars taking it in turns to overtake and artic. The road here is pretty narrow for a dual carriageway with no hard shoulder. The artic was weaving about - one minute nearly off the road, the next minute halfway across the overtaking lane. They were waiting until he veered to the left, then nipping past quick as. When it came to my turn I pulled over into a services for a coffee.

  4. I agree with everyones sentiments on this.

For the people and familes involved and the people who had to deal with it. An awful incident that will be remembered for a long time.

It makes you realise how dangerous motorways are so lets all keep safe on them and make sure if something like this happens again none of us are involved!

Big thoughts to anyone touched by such a terrible accident!
