lowering the bay

  1. i am looking for the best cost effective way of lowering my bay about 3.5 inches ,,,anyone help please

  4. There is no "cost effective" way...

    Adjusters on the front have a large labour charge, as you've got a good few hours in strip down and re-assembly, and dropped spindles have a large price tag, and a relatively low labour charge...

    But then there are things like tires to consider, as stock size on the front will start rubbing on the arches...
     
  5. Load it up with ten paving slabs and five bags of pea-gravel. Sorted!

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    Dropped spindles and adjustable spring plates are cost effective. Together with the shocks and tyres you can simply unbolt and put it back like it was when you get bored of it and sell on the goodies for not too short of what they cost you.
