Shower Screen seal strip? http://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/...n=googlebase&gclid=CJCx8eTqpMsCFUqeGwod0f8AEA Even better on Fleabay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/3908...ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80
Hmm, I've seen quite a few Moonrakers with the plastic stuff I describe, maybe a later thing? I've also seen plenty with wonky foam I assumed is a home bodge as it's so ugly!
Little rolled up pieces of toilet paper gently stuffed into the gaps should see you warmer tonight at least. Ironically I've got a full roll of unused foam draught excluder sitting in the garage you could've had.
Just the one - I turned the bus round yesterday to keep the snow out of the slider when I opened it, that's when the louvre got draughty but it was pretty windy last night.
Yeah, I know but it would've been OK for a day or two till you can get the right stuff. Why not order stuff online and get it sent to Eddie's if you're going to be there for a while?
I've never owned duct tape though I've scraped plenty off. It's Marmitee stuff that makes a mess isn't it.
Temporarily it's not really a big problem, just something that I'd like to get done as I sit here in the rain with nothing better to think about...could be warmer driving about too, perhaps. Ah well - I'm now planning to go to the front of the van for a drill bit - when i've had a cuppa and a cake. I need to move up the top tie-back for the sliding door - it catches on the RR bed when I make it back to a seat. Slightly annoyingly I'll have 2 unused screw holes where it was unless I can think of a cunning plan.
While I was filling and painting and building up engines, I'd read other people's posts on such trifling matters as these and think how nice it must be when all you have to worry about is slipping on a seal or moving a tie-back. I can confirm it is very nice. Now where did I put those choccy chip buns...
