    The gaps are tiny - 0.5-1mm max. :)

    It's a single malt - I put it off until just now for the sake of propriety. :)

    Mine close properly without needing seals.
    Undo the screws holding the latch in place.
    Open the latch.
    Let go of the lever so it drops and rests against the mechanism about 3/4 down from full opened.
    Push the panes closed.
    Do up the screws.
    Close the latch tensioning the mechanism.
    Job done they will snap shut and hold the glass louvres together under pressure.

    Wi post video later.

    Thanks for the offer, no offence but that sounds like what I'm trying to avoid doing. Clear plastic timmage for the win. :)

    My glass is held inside frames at the ends which make the ends necessarily bigger than just the glass. So there is a small gap between the panes - just like yours. ;)

  14. No offence taken, i had a devon window and replaced what seemed to be OG seal so just created what was there, it worked really well.
    good luck with the trim fella.

    You have the white stripes that I wish to avoid. I'm being fussy but I have nothing so...

    Now this doesn't exactly fit the going-down-the road-and-buy-one requirement, but is where I got mine from. They fit well and got the lip on for a tight seal;

    I looked high and low before ordering from them.
