  8. OK to bring this back on track for @MadFrankie

The compressor is currently fitted underneath with a long piece of coolant pipe and wires for the thermostat coiled up. So I assume I just unscrew it and carefully uncoil the cooling pipe and my until the comp somewhere remotely, I don't think it is completely removable so I won't be able to fit it in the cupboard as I can't cut and rejoin the pipe to get it in the cupboard

  9. I didn't realise its not completely removable! Thats a bit of a bummer i wanted to route the pipes under the van! but i supposed it would have to re-gassed or something?

  10. Cheers, and taking it back to the gutter to keep Ricky interested, could you insert something into it for sizing?

  12. OK here are a few more pics

Compressor removed but obvisouly still attached with the cooling pipe

3 cans high and 3 and a half wide

There is a basket as well which fits a can underneath and 2 high in it. Just to give an idea of size

  13. Perfect thanks, (taking things back to the gutter), I'm now wondering if my misses will think it's a bit small...

  14. When you install it make sure the condenser is not up against the wall. I presume the first picture you have you are just standing it on the compressor to see how it looks. I would fit it cross ways with the compressor facing the sliding door. You can always fit a fan to it if it gets hot under there.

  15. I'm probably going to fit it with the compressor at the other end, so the box is flush to the kitchen unit

  17. So in my other thread about this fridge I decided I wanted to fit the compressor in the cupboard. It is obviously attached in a permanent way so i have been thinking about it.

What if I cut a slot in the side of the kitchen unit and slide the comp. In that way, then just have to disguise the slot with a vent or some other way

  18. Perhaps a little bit of a long way round but, couldn't you take the cupboard out put the compressor where you want it and then put the cupboard back with just a couple of slots at the back for the pipe, maybe even put comp on the van floor to give a little more space in the cupboard?

  19. If you can't take the units out as major said, why not cut out a section, (bit like an access hatch), to get the compressor where you want it then put the bit you cut out back in on a hinge or something with a slot cut out to fit the pipe along? That way you'll have a way of getting it out if there's a problem or if you want to remove for cleaning etc.

  20. Can't go in from the back or underneath as there is a floor and the water pump is in the way from the back. Slot or access hatch is way forward. If I slot from the front the comp can slide in from the front then just have put the slot cut out back in
