Litter - whats goin on ?.

i wait for bikers - then chuck my fag butts out
I thought I was the only who thought like that. Except in the completely opposite way. If I'm about to chuck a butt out of the window (roll ups so they completely degrade - it's the same a chucking an eaten apple out the window IMO) I'll always check there's no bikers coming up behind. Imagine a lit butt going up into their helmet. It could cause them to crash and die.

Over the last few years i have noticed litter everywhere , side of motorways , countryside ,on estates , in the towns whats goin on it seems to be gettin worse , it used to be a crime

i once chased a man and his dog after he left a poop out the back of my house i was painting the fence and saw him when i caught up with him he said he didnt have a poopy bag so i made him get one and go clear it up LOL!!!!!! go me!

I was lucky/unlucky enough once to have one land on my lap while I was on the eleven, pulled alongside offending motor, and threw it through the still open window, accelerated , mirror checked and there was a car weaving wildly behind me, I figured my work was done here >

But yeah, litter does seem to be increasing...I was always taught to bin it if a bins about or take it home, most people just don't give a stuff whether or not they live in a pigs sty

I pick all the rubbish up around my house and put it in the bin. I used to get anoyed but dont waste the energy anymore.

Throwing fag butts out of the car window: is your own smoking habit so offensive to you that you can't even keep the rubbish in the car? I may be generalising here, but it seems to me that smokers start off with chucking fag ends out of their cars and then think that they might as well chuck all of the other crap out as well. Inconsiderate people.

We get loads of litter on the lanes round us - mostly drinks cans / bottles and fast food wrappers. The nearest MacDonalds is over 10 miles away!

I agree, we fought long & hard to keep MuckDonalds out off our town (& won )However the same thing happens, 20 Kms in one direction (50 Kms in the other) is the nearest Muccas & still we get their crap in the car parks by the beach.
I smoke but have an old tin as an ashtray & empty it in the bin when we get home.
If you carry the stuff in it's just as easy (or easier & lighter) to carry it back out again.
