  4. Really sorry to hear this news dude. Hope it all works out OK. My boy was born with a medical conditionand had his 1st op at 24 hours old.
    Just remember that the docs and nurses on kids wards are the best and GOSH is a damn good hospital.
    Karen & I will be thinking of your family.

  9. So sorry to read this - poor little man :( Your brother and his missus will have a lot being flung at them over the next few weeks but he really is in the best of places - GOSH are amazing. Biggest of hugs to you all xxx

  14. Sorry to hear that awful news .if it helps any I have seen first hand some of the work they do at G.O.S.H and it the best place in the world for this.the staff are truly wonderful
     
  15. So sorry to hear that terrible news - my grandson is 9 months old and I can feel for your bro. My best friend's boy was similarly diagnosed when he was very small and spent time in Birmingham children's hospital. He was there some time but eventually given the all clear. He got married a year or two ago and now has his own boy, so there's always hope with small kids. They have this growth hormone which helps them overcome it. So keep thinking positively. Kids do amazing things.
