That's another clever plan of mine that's fallen to earth in a ball of flames.

Robo , I'll get both items in the post Tue or Wed.

  9. No worries, you proper confused me for a moment & zed didn't help either, we wish it was July tho as that's sooner, problem is I wud love to take the first week of the school holidays off due to Leicester finishing earlier than most area's so it's not classed as peak time & is cheaper but my manager has had that week & the other pleb has booked that week to sit at home & watch the cycling on the telly! Which hasn't annoyed me much!

google says 1.5miles. think its caravan club, but when i spoke to the owner(dad to my nieces) he said its fine if they name drop me. thats as long as theyre not full though!

  13. I take it if we shouldn't say Dog of the late bay or uncle Dog sent us as they may decide their full!

  15. Mrs Robo has been phoning round this morning & she has emailed me already with the following info...

Stiffkey - Fully booked for the Aug bank holiday.
Millfarm - Got the answer phone which said the static vans are booked up until October (2.4 miles by road but much less as the crow flies as dog says) going to try them again later.
Breckfarm - Have availability @ £18 per night all in with hook-up (18 miles away from Holkham Hall so maybe no good for you zed).
Deepdale - (7 miles from Holkham Hall) Peak rate is £9 per night for 1 adult which is a result for Zed but it will cost us £28 per night :( & thats with no hookup.

Not sure if this helps you any zed but were looking to stay Fri - Tue (4 nights) & with not going to the concert we may end up opting for Breckfarm as a base and then go exploring the coast, if we end up at different campsites maybe we could head to a local beach somewhere parkable in the buses for a beach BBQ & mini TLB meet up

only place you can have a beach bbq is east runton, all the others have fire hazards. keep gong at mill farm, its a decent little site, and perfect for the gig!

  17. Thanks dog, we have tried Millfarm but still getting the answer phone so we have booked Breckfarm. We will have to try Millfarm next time!

Have you managed to book anything zed?

Not yet Robo. No luck with Mill Farm either but I'll keeep trying for a while.

  19. It makes sense due to being so close to the venue for your open air concert.

Just for info & if anyone else fancies it the place we have booked still has plenty of space & the lady on the phone was lovely & it's payment on arrival with a nil penalty cancellation!

dog so runton is good nor a beach BBQ how about beaches with a nice car park next to it so we can let the kids play while we chill in or near the van & still keep an eye on them?

Runton is a good beach. But with the car park being on top of a cliff not great to leave your kids ;)
Not any beaches I can think if where there is a car park next to the beach buddy. Runyon gets a bit choppy and is surf able too if that floats your boat. If you want awesome beaches then its wells or holkham. Not a better one on this side of the country IMO. Sheringham has lifeguards in the peak season but is a gravel beach, lively town though and just s hop from break farm
How old are your kids. There's a good playground in wells with a big pirate ship on and a skate park.
