Its time to say goodbye!

My campervan was sold last year and all my spares have now just been sold off, so its time to say goodbye to all members. I joined in Jan 2014 and over that time I have had a enormous amount of help, advice and many laughs on here, so its a big thank you for all members from them until now. I wish you all great times ahead in the bus and lots of great memories. I might not have a bus any more (just a MGB) but have lots of great memories from all the VW Shows, car shows, music festivals and camping holidays over that period. Buying our campervan on retirement was a dream fulfilled and a big tick in the box of things to do. Music festivals are brill at any age (our first one was at a age of 65), if not sure of these, just do it, only here once. Wish I went to Glasto when I was young, now cant get any tickets!
So its a big farewell, take care, stay safe. Here is my old bus

 

Why leave the forum? Loads on here including myself don’t even own bays. Some god forbid even own builders vans with beds in.

I sold my Bay 10 days ago after the engine popped and now spend time with the MGB as you do. At age 75, I can manage the B and still just about get in and out of it.

 

I only stay for the excellent plumbing advice

 

I sold my bus (moments before prices went silly) and I’m still here. Actually I must sell some bits off - you reminded me.

And how did you find the market ?

 

The market is clearly on the up for Bays and although I didn't expect to get much for my broken Bay, I got a very good price.

 

I read through your predicament and the subsequent opinions here.

It's a shame it came to that but fully understandable.

Any regrets, or do you have a sense of relief?

 

I've got lots of parts, mostly beetle stuff that I vaguely remember buying when I was experimenting with bespoke lighting but never got round to doing.

Deck lids and wings anyone??!!
