  3. This is why I want to take the van round Europe. I want to sit on the step of the van on a hot sunny beach, not freeze my bits off in a cold wet campsite. :(

  4. Still not good this morning, but my new.cherry tree is loving the rain loooool. ;)

  5. The next one of my neighbours who says "ooh, we need the rain, it's good for the garden" is going to get a slap.

  6. anyone else had sheet and hail stones? had to happen during outdoor pe session didn't it? drenched twice during the day and then when we were out with the dog, think I'm turning into a mermaid :))

  10. Persistently raining here
Supposed to be refitting the engine to my old Devon Bay today every things ready out on the drive just waiting for a gap in the rain. Shouldn't take long. But there's nothing worse than trying to get that awkward nut done up behind the fan housing with cold wet hands.
Oh wait a minute while I've been typing the rain has stopped
    Better get out there.

  11. Glorious sunshine on the way to work this morning but hissing it down on arrival.

Just how did Noah hold it together for 40 days and 40 nights I'll never know.

  16. Cleaning fascias is obviously exciting for you! I've got a whole house to do...

I'd be nothing but a gent if I didn't offer, if you want to do them for me.

  17. We have even started with the thunderstorms now!!

Yesterday i spent all day working outside in the worst of it and Ive never been so wet and cold at the end of the day :(

They still recon it would take 3 months of this rain to replace the water in the resovoirs but the hose pipe ban doesnt bother me now cos my garden is flooded!! ;D ;D

Is it okay to use a hose to remove excess water though?
