Independent electric fan to drive original interior heating system (73 1600 tp)

  1. The eBay Seller is type 2 customs they have been selling that fan for a while now, it's supposed to be very effective.
    My stock system on my prototype bay is adequate, I'm expecting my late bay single cab to be much warmer as there's less space to heat.
     
  2. You've got to address the source of the heat first...which is the heat exchangers. If you haven't got the hefty originals, you're not going to get much heat whatever you do.

    or source the bits youself. Bit noisy as I have one fitted and it does make a significant difference particularly at low revs. I was considering utilsing two of thes blowing into the exchangers and taking already warmed air from the interior but thats a lot of holes!
     
  4. With original heat exchangers and everything in good shape, you won't need an extra fan.

    Fix the usual sources of engine compartment odours, and it'll even smell nice.
     
  5. Agreed but you can still improve. Bet mine demists far quicker than your mate!
