And she stays parked on the road.

  2. Lola's our daily, she sits outside in all weathers and we love her 8)

  3. Outside, keep it taxed ready for winter camp or whenever the urge may occur :)

  4.
  5. put it in the garage for winter and do all the little jobs that i didn't do in the summer because we were camping

  6. I would live to but it in our garage, so i could work on it a bit more and in any weather :p
buts it's full of stuff and my mom doesn't want the washing machine or the dry in the living room.

So it's just sitting with its jk cover And on the drive, with a big sorn.
hopefully get some odd jobs done, if the weather is nice.

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

I never use mine. It just lives in my workshop. Tell a lie, I used it once. It's generally so "not rusty" I don't want to get it wet as there's bare metal scatches all over it. I'm just going to lacquer the lot to preserve it as it is. When I get time...

  8. Naturally, I drive it year-round in Texas. But I probably still would even if I lived in Michigan. I LOVE driving in snow and I think it would be especially fun in a bus. (aside from the windows fogging up & all, but I'd find a way around all that.)
As for the salt problem, we just washed our cars a lot, especially when the road was wet. We paid extra for the undercarriage wash and always parked in a garage.
So never mind the salt with proper washing, but without a garage you can practically watch an old car deteriorate before your eyes.

  9. I need mine for work... ;D

I do give him christmas day off... 8)

  10. Mine's used as my daily and lives on the drive - no garage or carport. He gets waxoiled regularly and a good layer of polish before the winter - thats about it!

I just wrap up warm in the winter :cold:

  11. Not out of choice, but mine's going to be driven all winter. It was supposed to have come back from its full repaint 4 months ago. I could have then fitted the interior (which I'm doing with my brother who lives 200 miles aways), got it waxoyled (being done 80 miles way), got the engine conversions done (done 25 miles away) and the roof conversion (done 120 miles away). Then it would have been put in a secure garage over winter. But, because the paint job won't even be finished for another couple of weeks, all these jobs, and driving to where they're going to be carried out, are now going to have to be done over winter. Thinking of trailering the bus to keep the salt of it.

  12. Gilbert is sat on the drive with his new JK cover on! its been sorned since end of September and will come out to play in April or May. Took off the roof rack and will revamp this winter :)

  13. Out, use mine everyday, she lives on the road outside my gaff and I've already had to wear gloves driving into work on earlies!
Must get my heating sorted ;)

  14. Spend the winter without a bay. I'd sooner have wasps...

seriously though, the Jokers bus is now starting to suffer from continued exposure to the UK after spending the first 30 years in South Africa. Since coming here its spent every day outside - come rain, shine, snow.

So, this winter will be resto time for tJb, full dismantle, everything in boxes and stored in the cellar - just leaving it as a rolling shell on old stock wheels, a couple of replacement panels, a bit of dent fettling and a pukka bare metal repaint. In boring Pastel White...

Most of everything that goes back on will be brand spanking new, should leave enough spares to build a westy from... :)

Injun will go in the back of 'blueboy' until he sells (unless I can get the extra money and will sell the injun with him). We'll be putting 'blueboy' in for super waxoil and using him thru the winter or until he sells. If he's not sold by Jan 24th he's my 40th birthday present to myself :)

2056 project injun being built over the winter ready to go in the back of the new and vastly improved Jokers bus ready for April and hopefully a USB sticker.

Might even treat tJb to a red9 coil over...

    Fingers x'd
    :)

  15. In the garage with a just kampers cover on. 8)

  16. Joycee is tucked up in her jk, round on Grandads drive until we sell the jag. We have 2 parking spaces on the drive, and with the bug, Joycee makes 4 cars.

Hopefully having an extension done next year, then she can have her own garage, but for now she has got to rough it.
