    We rescued my daughter from her abusive relationship with the violent, complete waste of space 'partner' four days ago. Made several trips in the car to get her and our grandson's stuff and her Rottweiler and now she has such a Marmitety attitude towards us that me, her and my wife are constantly arguing about the stupidest things and we're being shouted at that it's all our fault and we're not helping and we don't give a Marmite about her. I'm pathetic, her mother is embarrasing and she's just a problem and and because we don't care about her that it's going to be our fault when she goes back to Marmite face.
    I feel like running away. :(

    Perhaps you could convince her mum of that. We've just been told (screamed at) that it's all our fault and we'll never see her or our grandson again.

    Let it ride mate. I know it's difficult, but these things happen in the heat of the moment. Wouldn't be a normal family if it didn't. I feel for you btw, but be the dad and take a wise old head stance.

    Not according to her. Apparently I don't understand domestic abuse and I don't care about her and I haven't helped her at all, ever. This particular row started with Becky telling her mum that she was a useless cook and she was making the roast potatoes wrong. Because we now live in a tinderbox it swiftly spread to all out war.

    I'm sat on the settee with my head down on TLB giving everyone a chance to cool down but if the last four days are anything to go by Rebecca will be in in a minute with some more petrol.
