Probably ok, I'm just being a bit anal I guess. I ground down the boss to be parallel when it could have been left to just angle forward... Edit: Ignore that its the angle to the flange that keeps the sensor central to my towbar beam, might be a bit more problematic that I thought....
My was aimed at asking for something specific and the result you got. All too typical sadly. One wonders why we bother and it's why I do anything I possibly can myself.
At a push it will fit but any exhaust vibration and it’s too close to the inside of beam for my liking…
Damn that's double annoying. take it back with the photo and tell them to source another fitting and do it like you asked them to. It's their mistake, they should pay, don't accept them asking you to provide the fitting or they'll never learn to listen.
Well I finally got the boss re-welded in… in the right place but the weld was enormous. Spent awhile needle filing it down and now just waiting on a thread chaser as the guy put way too much heat into the area…
Lol just got everything connected at last for the AFR checks... ignition light never came on so something has broken while its been stood on axle stands this past week... Voltage it battery is never going above 12.6 so need to go through my alternator/ regulator circuits to see whats gone poof Edit: panic over…
Of course, as this is a temporary set-up you could jam an extension into the tail pipe to increase the distance to the sensor.
