My phone screen has gone big time, the phone doesn't owe me anything, it's well past two year's old, almost three and the battery is not in great shape. I am considering it to be BER. Any recommendations, please. I have a sim only contract, Android based unit, my budget is up to £350. Looking for a good camera, as currently it's only camera I own. Anyone bought a mid tier phone recently, do you love it or loath it? Thanks
I have a cracking condition Google pixel 5 only just over a year old, I was about to trade in to Google for £200 as the Google pixel 6 has just been released If it's any interest to you. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the offer, I think I would prefer new, but that's not 100%, I'd have to look into the 5. The 4a was on my shortlist.
I’ve just bought a new phone! First one for years. Unfortunately it is an iPhone as I’ve fallen into the iPad iPhone trap. It’s an SE asi want a smallish phone to go in my pocket when I’m working. I had an Alcatel phone in Spain that I liked, not a smart phone. I’m only saying that as when I purchased my new phone in Falkirk there were some nice Alcatel ones on display
I had a poor experience with a iPod mini, many moons ago, put me off for the price it cost, to be honest.
I have the ‘new’ iPhone 6 SE 2nd Generation. It’s good enough for my needs to look at Japanese female models, Farcebook, vw campervan and motorcycle parts and to come on here and ask/ moan/ laugh at everything.
Mine's getting on a bit and the internal storage is about full (as usual) so was looking at mid range Samsung Galaxys with decent camera. I haven't come to a decision yet though, so I'll keep lurking for suggestions on here...
Sorry, no help from here as I'm also a slave to the iPhone, damn and blast my weakness. I used to use a Samsung Galaxy before I got coaxed over to the dark side... but they're probably on a par with Apple these days price-wise. The Google Pixel range get good reviews and have nice camera quality, I believe. The lads at work all seem to have them. How about Huawei? Do you do anything with your phone that the Chinese might be interested in?!
I've still got a samsung A50 and it has never let me down yet. If I wanted to change I'd go up to the latest generation A50. Perfect for all my needs and still asking for updates so I sticking with it .
Now researching OnePlus, (do they really have a logo that's camel case?) Anyway, looking at them at the moment. The pixel 4a was the front runner until I realised you had to buy new power banks and chargers for off grid camping, thanks to their clever battery management tools. Funny how Google spent time promoting the standardization of the USB charger?
