broke the news to my better half that i think we need a beetle ... she wasnt to impressed with the idea ,pointing out i have already got 3 classic vehicles .. so as i pointed out whats one more ! am i be unreasonably wanting another car oh and no i cant sell any of them to make way for one
I am looking around for a nice Morris Minor. I had one as my first car and loved that car, so easy to work on and very reliable.
Do it we sold Mrs ktd's 1970 last year I regretted it before it got out of sight being driven off by the new owner and I still regret it now
haha, Mrs Monkey has a beetle! It's her car & is called Marge. Be careful what you wish for, my point being that I'm reasonably certain she'd get rid of me before Marge A standard 1200, 1976, not the most desirable or the coolest in many peoples eyes....but one of the most loved
A 1965 morris minor was my first car, light blue, 2 door. I fitted it with a sprite twin carbs engine and spax adjustable shox's. Brilliant little car even on 145 cross plies.
If folks have an air cooled van, why get a Beetle. Why not try something completely different like a Morris Minor, a true British classic car, very easy to work on and maintain, great to drive, plenty of good ones out there to buy and quite cheap too.
Everyone should have a Beetle to jump in for the few occasions that the bus is too much! It's the law...
I sometimes wonder about getting something else but always hold back because I am not sure I want to share the love. If I did it would be a Beetle though
