Did they tell you the road to to recovery is paved with safety mats? They lied and you’re older. Please please video it
i can take the cable car upto the top of mount hayling, throw my hands back and just glide down with the wind in my hair baby
hospital food was super yummy, but in my state of immobility i have gained a few ounces around the waist
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/browse/c0-sports/c1-inline-skates/c2-adults-inline-skates/_/N-mroih It’s all about wheel size. aggressive inlines for skate parks have small wheels. You don’t want to street skate in those (although one of my team tried to skate a marathon in them). hockey skates have mid size (but soft) wheels so not much good for outside. Street skates have big wheels but are not nimble (think turning an oil tanker) Aggressive and hockey have no brake, others do. if you haven’t done it in a while I would defo get wrist guard and other pads. And a helmet. Also, if I were you, I wouldn’t do it, especially the skate park. street skating would be ok.
i am definitely getting both the top two, ive found some shell suits, in this weather theres no chance im wearing my leotard again, i got a chilly willy last time , leg warmers "check" , i can start with some over sized head phones and move up to transistor radio after a few weeks x broken wrists, smashed pelvis, its all good , Bart simpson told me "chick dig Scars" x
im like an american car, dont do corners, or breaking very well to be honest, i mostly just looked cool at the roller disco, getting on the bus home was interesting. would thick woolen gloves do for wristguards? i saw scot of the antartic with john mills recently and they did pretty well, ive got to watch the last half, if youve seen it dont spoil it for me
Looking on Facebook etc it seems lots of folks only use their skates a couple of times , was hoping to pick up a near new set with some pads etc perhaps @CollyP I don’t imagine there’s much difference in skates at the low price end, I expect they all have very slow wheels etc
I have never had any generic ‘fitness’ skates as they are called in the link I put up, so not an expert but they would at least get you rolling. be careful out there!!
well you’re probably not well fit like me I’ll keep An eye out, I don’t need bra new ones, may put a Facebook request out too
Do they come with a step ladder to get into them? I do like the traditional quad skates I must admit but I have looked at in line skates as well, though not bought as yet. We always book the roller skating when we go to that Centre Parcs. Could never quite master those cool crossing your skates turns but give me time I’ll get there.
