We piled up about 10ft of hay under a tree once and were doing acrobatic dives off the tree into out hay pile until someone set it on fire and we couldn't put it out. 2 fire engines - oops. Zed aged about 12.

Me any my mates set off at 4am to cycle from Lincoln to Skegness when we were 13 - 40 miles each way. No fuss from the parents.

  11. Another old fart here. In 76 I was working for Volkswagen and already owned my bay :-[

I remember it got so hot during the day that the camper would sink into the tarmac of the road where it was parked.

By 6pm the stuff had set again which made it difficult to pull away. Then had to drive for a few hundred yards with lumps of road still attached to the tyres. They felt like they were square and the noise had to be heard to be belived.
