Huey and Dewey

This is the start of another trip hopfully for Huey and Dewey.well ive been without a camper now for all of 3 weeks ,so thought i better get another one .as some of you may remember i had a champange,but sold it .been on the net everynight since trying to find another one.well like buses two came along,and before i new it i had pushed the button,for two of them.not a good idea coming in from the pub on a friday night and going on the net.anyway its done now and the money has gone.now its the waiting game as to weather they ever turn up at the docks.as they say i will keep you all posted.abit like rickyroo.They are both 79 westies and have named them all ready Huey and Dewey from one of my fav films from when i was a boy Silent Running.here they are Huey

carnt tell you to much at this time,as they are still at there homes where they been for the last 30 nothing years.hopefully they will be picked up next week and taken to houston.they are both one owner buses and have been in texas all there lives so hopefully dry as a bone and no rust.Huey is as the day he was born ,that is no paint.Dewey as had a paint,last year.they,ve never met as yet and i am praying they get on as there gonna be in the same cantaner :- sorry about the spelling,for about 8 weeks.i now they might not be as nice as my champange but will try and get one as near to him as i can.might even get one painted brown also i wont able able to keep both of them so if any one is looking for a 79 westie .

Brilliant story. Fingers crosses they both turn up. I'm liking the idea of 2 identical buses. Will make choosing which one to drive though

 

feel alittle better tonight as both owners have said they have sent the titles to the shippers in houston and all the other paper for the vans on to me (so they say).so fingers crossed they should be picked up this week will let you all no if it happens.heres the one i sold a couple of weeks ago.it a rickpoo bus

 

i no huey and dewey wont be as good as this but will try and get one like him.he drove like a dream

 

carnt wait to see him around with he new owners he stands out last year at brighten breeze my boy dad and my best mate my dog

 

bit more good news today, Huey should be getting picked up today.Dewey got picked up on monday,so both buses are on there way,if only to the docks .also got some paper work and history though the door for Dewey.had a quick look though it and it looks like he has been well looked after.i love looking though the old paper work .carnt wait to get in a folder and all in order.very sad i no and yes need to get out more .
