How much have you used your bus this year ?

Strangely, I think I used my bus for more camping this year than last year - a total of 10 nights.
Dubfreeze , Keiths Field, Techenders (3 nights) , and two additional 2 night trips.

On top of which I have used it as an office for 8 hours of work on every day I have been at work since March 17th when I went home.
Even on the two days when I have turned up at the office for face-to-face contact with some equipment, instead of hot-desking in the office on my laptop, instead I worked in the bus in the works carpark.

It does mean though that a lot of maintenance I should have done was left for next year.
All the same I did weld up a hole in the cab floor, replace the roof vent, resite the solar panels, fit downlighters and drop the engine to re-fit the fuel filler hose to the tank.

Next year - offside front wheel arch, deformation panel, front valance and bottom half of front panel.
Bottom of sliding door needs doing as well. I think I will have to find and rent a unit to get it all done.

    Sadly, not much :(
I drove it for the hell of it, at any given opportunity - making the most of the fantastic weather - but actually camped much less than normal: once on my driveway at the start of lockdown, when I thought all hope for the summer was lost, and again for 4 nights at techenders. And that's it. What a waste of a gorgeous heat wave. We better get another one next summer, or I shall have a massive tantrum.

We hardly used Gusbus to be honest, managed a total of eight nights :(

    Keiths Field
    Derbyshire
    Hilcote Country Club
    Techenders

Spent most of this year getting Major sorted ready for 2021, hopefully we will make it a much better year!

Gusbus needs some fettling here and there, which I hope to do at some point next year, the bus is still in bits at the moment, I’ll get the bits back on soon.

2,549 miles this year. Only 2 camping trips away to nearby Weymouth and Kimmeridge Bay due to COVID. We've hardly left Dorset at all to be honest.
Plenty of usage though, out 2-3 days a week.

Few days in Pickering as soon as we were allowed, then 3 weeks in Dorset and Devon plus a few days in the Cotswolds.
Upped my mileage to 7k for this year and done less than 2.

Lots more this year. Usual odd weekend and a week in the lakes then a week in Yorkshire. Partly because we didn’t go abroad, kids do their own things and we couldn’t organise things with friends and family

  11. Four nights on the way to France, eleven nights in France, one night on the ferry each way, that doesn't count, but was still part of my holiday. Four nights at the Beach Gathering on the August Bank Holiday, one night at Elie, one on the way to TE and four at TE. Probably a couple of thousand miles all in.

    Day

Two 1week trips and one 3week trip around Tuscany.
    Trips around the valley.
    Moved house with it.
Used it for transporting our garlic crop.
    Cleaned in out many times.

Going to use it through winter.

  14. Driven it very regularly but the only camping was Keith's field and Techenders - very frustrating especially given the generally fine weather over the spring and summer. Hopefully next year will involve much more camping, we've already decided to not even bother with thinking of overseas travel for a year or so.
