    I’ve had a few fords.

    1600e great car especially at the early age I was.
    Fiesta mk3 diesel
    Escort mk4 new
    Escort eclipse one year old fab car
    Xr31 great but rotted out overnight
    Escort mk3 ex police
    Transit for my building company absolutely cra!

    Still not sure if I like fords or not though!

    My dad’s firm had a fleet of escort vans I liked those even if they did stink of paint. His own car was his pride n joy a zephyr v4 I used to slide along the front seat when he took a corner :)

    It was basically a Gt with the 4 clocks inside the dash not on the top like the 1600E, and it had a factory fitted V6 engine

    I kind of knew what they were but couldn’t distinguish in my mind between that and another company that did a similar build for race. I’ll Google it, and then of course there was the lotus mk2 not as nice looking as the mk1 imo but q cracking car!

    Few years ago I saw a MK3 Cortina Savage going down the slowlane of the M4. Love rare Fords like the Escort Mk1 Mexico estate, pirana MK1 Capri or Bobcat MK1 Capri pickup .
