I find it hard to believe the minimum is £30. If you release the trigger at £20 I doubt they’ll force you to put the remaining £10 in.

Our local place has the pumps set to cut off at £35. I smelt the nozzle before putting it back. Diesel...mmmmmm.

Probably to stop people who are 3/4 full, but are worrying that actually they are 1/4 empty and putting £10 in.

But only on the unleaded 99 fuel.
Makes me wonder if they are draining the tanks down there.

It’s true! I read it on FaceBook!

Was speaking to our local garage lady today. In her words…”THERE IS NO BLOODY SHORTAGE!” They have one delivery on Mondays, which normally lasts them all week. Except…now it’s all gone by Tuesday, once The Loons turn up.

 

It does make me wonder where people are putting all this fuel. Once you've filled your vehicle you have to drive it for 100 miles or so to make room for more fuel. It's been over a week - surely everyone has brimmed every vehicle, lawnmower and generator they own by now

 

Wheelie bin in the garage? It has happened.
