How happy are you with your van on a scale of 1 - 10 ?.

Yes, I know the steering won't be like the Ferrari or Rolls but it's still way off how a bus should be. I drove one non-stop for 2 years, 12 years ago, so I know how they should be. I assure you, if you drove it, the steering would scare you. Pretty sure it's the idler pin not tight enough. It can't be anything else - everything's new.

 

mines a 10. Even if it was a complete shed i'd be happy with it. Be even happier if I could get the bodywork sorted and give it the respray and new interior fit out it deserves. But, the new house has to come first, but at least i'll be able to slot it into a garage for the first time in forever

 

Not at all happy with him at the mo...
Only just put an MOT on him, then a week later he decided to break down at a campsite near Croyde, on the weekend of Big Sunday. Missed the show, and had to get a ride home on the big yellow taxi!
Some sort of muppetry going on with the electrics - no spark. Also leisure and main battery have fallen out, causing main battery to discharge overnight...
AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!

(Sure it'll be back up to 10/10 when the problems are solved....)

 

Apart from the b-i-i-i-ig problem, she has a million things wrong. When I've fixed those, there'll be another million things wrong or about to go wrong. But I can't help it, I just look out the window at that lovely thing parked on the drive and I get a great big smile inside. 10 out of 10 every time because I never believed I'd get to own one and I love her to bits!

 

not very happy with mine at the mo, bought it partly restored, and will pretty much have to undo all the previous work thats been done, very badly,

however i still have much love for it and am getting happier day by day as things get repaired properly,
the road is long but i can see a finished picture right down the very end
