  4. I've got the silent gliss curtain rails, we have even purchased material in a colour Mrs Robo aproves of, my mothers sewing machine has had a long enough rest since doing the R&R seat cushion covers oh and her finger has healed nicely so it is now safe to ask her to run us up some curtains.

We deffinately want to get some of these magnets sewn into the hem so can anyone tell me what size magnets have been used in your curtains, did you buy them and if so where from?

P.S. If anyone needs a couple of lengths of silent gliss rail I have some left over if your interested...

    Thanks,

    Robo...

  5. I would have thought that VW Curtains might be at CJ this weekend, so if they are, you could buy from them there Rick.

  6. the coloured film you apply to inside of your windows ? ive done mine (black ) its a job that requires absolute cleanliness, the correct atmosphere temp. (dont do in direct to bus sunlight, a very steady hand, and if doing , best to make up a template, must say certainly works but , but it aint half dark in here!

    Ebay -rare earth magnets.

I like when they have a hem at the bottom threaded onto a net curtain plastic coated spring thing.

I would have thought a neodynium magnet was overkill to be honest. These are the ones used by unscrupulous persons to stop their electricity meter rotating so have a hell of a pull to them!
Just go for a normal magnet, theyre normally about 20 - 25mm discs.

I'd have thought they'd be fine. A curtain weighs approximately nothing?
Speak to someone at one of the curtain places and ask them. Sarah at VW Camper Curtains is very helpful!
