  3. You don't use the strimmer any more, then? Bit painful round the bikini line, but does the job.

It was helpful this year at TE because I wasnt praying to the engine bay of so many buses, so I got away without knackering my right knee from too much kneeling..

I know. Putting a ice pack on the affected bursa is quite painful.

I’m only a 34”. Just with short skinny legs. You can see in the pics how skinny they are, due to muscle wastage…

IMG_0736.jpeg Managed this far yesterday, walking behind a lawn mower. I normally walk twice as far, on a mowing day, but I didn’t want to overdo it. Knee was ok, but foot started feeling sore just after 4 miles.

Had a heavy day at work yesterday (Tooosday) then started sanding the patio once home. Could hardly walk up the stairs last night, struggled out the sack today. Feel very guilty too as I’d have done all of yesterday’s stuff before lunch years back and I’m not one to admit to not being able to hack it any more and no one else knows but you lot.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, few beers tonight praps :)

No not decking, and not sanding like with sandpaper and stuff. It’s block pavers that have been down for about thirty plus years. Because of pollution and the close proximity of the ring road , I have to power wash it about twice a year to keep the grime down which entails removing by blasting a lot of the sand along with the dirt and the weeds in all the joints, which is great but you then need a few dry days to dry everything out before re sanding the joints. I’ve started using sika setting sand as it rejects the weeds for much longer but my gosh isn’t it a price. So I brush this sand into all the joints then lightly spray with water to promote the acceleration of curing. This brushing goes on for hours and hours and hours as you need to remove as much as you can from the brick surface before wetting begins. I’ve just run out and I haven’t quite finished the lower patio and the prices are just bonkers.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, now that was interesting wuntit,,,,not,

  20. I have many mindless labour tasks that I avoid doing.

Patio sanding is now one of them
