I think I have a new lift clamp in my box of spares if you have need. Bought but not used when I replaced a window winder mechanism.

Thanks Stirlingmoz but I’ve got quite a list of parts so JK will be getting an order tomorrow anyway but appreciate the offer

 

Mine used to do that - the metal glass holder had come adrift from the mechanism . I used to have to keep balancing it on it until I got a new glass holder from JK and bolted it back on.

The old glass had the remains of the old holder firmly glued to it but I managed to jam this into the new holder and bolt it on OK .
