Get it shipped in mixed and dropped right where you need it , it`s quite a lump Save hours/days of slaving away and a bad back - don`t ask ...
nope they want a flat concrete base, shed is supply and erect onto flat base (by a 3rd party) , its down a very narrow street and then down 2 small alleyways to get in gardemn. making my head hurt. cemex site has given me a more sensible answer whether its right or not who knows, i give up
I had to mix 2 ton and take it through some-one's living room for their patio.. Never measured/calculated anything in my life..
3 wheel barrow fulls should do it, thats about 36 shovel fulls off chipping and dust 1 bag off cement 3 buckets of water,
It's v ery very easy to put up a pre-fab shed. Just get them to deliver and build it on a frame. I'd much rather do that than mess about with concrete just to make the shed chaps job easier.
For a shed there's no load surely? You hardly need any concrete... I laid mine on 9 cemented slabs to bear the weight and threw hardcore in the gaps, shed base on top and no one knows the difference. I am still deciding if I'm gonna concrete the patio or slab it, but if concrete I will get a ready mix.
Anyone local sell recycled crushed concrete in bulk bags Cheap and simply mix again with cement. Not massively strong but it is only a shed
Ah but the person wants a solid base ...no chance of vermin underneath ......and stops little people losing things underneath the shed! Customers always right!
Never try to do sums while drinking. (A lot) Now calculated correctly ........ While drinking a little Those chuffinn decimal points! So its more like half ton I need rather than nearly 4 ton
Make up most of the volume with breeze blocks then a few inches of concrete on top and around it. provided you can stop them floating ... Shed man will not notice.
