Have you got your police commissioner voting forms yet??

How are we supposed to know who to vote for?? no ones been round touting for business or offering lifts to the polling station?? Why are they asking us to do this??, surely it should be on their ability?? I could ad some humour but ill keep it straight you never know whos watching but feel free.

 

No nothing as yet. I expect the usual ranters will appear out of the woodwork soon, offering the world. ) Ability? Actualy I do hear theres a lady candidate in the offing around this part of Kent...a scary thought )

Got them and not looked yet. I imagine the candidates will be politically aligned with the main parties, so we can expect the usual bullMarmite.

 

I had mine yesterday and I have on my floor 3,500 polling cards to deliver this weekend.

And no I don't have a clue who our local candidate Is.

The one good thing for us that has come out off it this year Is that the electoral register had to be done 2 months early this year and it was much more better canvassing late Aug and sept when it was warm and light in the evenings rather than doing it now when it's dark and horriable. I got a much better return rate than I waver had before.

 

Just tried the web address on the polling card to see who the candidates are and the information won't be available until the 26th October. Seems like a bit of a shambles if the voting cards are out now but we can't even see who we are supposed to be voting for.

Regardless of how many are standing at the desk to get the paper 10pm is the chop off time. Perhaps theres an anticipation of thousands lining up to vote....

 

This will be the only time since I was 18 that I will not be voting. Blydi stupid idea. Perhaps if they get below x amount of votes then it shouldn't count... Is it first past the post or proportional rep? still not voting. Stupid thing. it'll be elected mayors next and an assembly for England

Perhaps I am being a bit stoopid here, but surely the police commissioner should be an actual serving Police Officer and not some politician who thinks they know all about the police and are just using the position to further their own political agenda
