GRP bumpers

Anyone make them??

Just weighing up whether it's worth me knocking up a couple of molds

 

Saw a guy last year at dub freeze who was selling them, will drop a few pounds in weight.

Woody, they promote the Early stuff as the originals are normally bored to death of the drivers and fall off...

 

i dont get it. one small tap and its cracked or shattered. for £100 you can get a straight used metal one

 

Do they melt in hot weather?

There's some others I can get too... kevlar.. obviously normal carbon too... plus quite a few colours

 

There was a company that was selling them along with towel rail overriders. Loomed quite good but I've never been able to find them again.

Perhaps knocking up a mould for those elusive overriders might be a better money maker idea??

 

I've always liked the idea of carbon tinware (carbonware). Is that doable? Or would it get to hot?

how about rhd slider top roller covers and tailgate hinge covers? glove box lids? all relatively small bits but always in demand
