Grill n Chill - The Hop Farm, Kent - 21-23 Sept 2012

We are coming along to this but we will be camping in the general camping area.
It's our first time camping at a show so thought we would ease ourselves in gently ;D

 

Whilst we are on, ive been told weve got our club pitch,they are sorting other stuff and will be emailing me shortly.

 

Assuming there is space for a van and awning

 

Right just had email from organisers, We have tlb camping area for 2o Van/Camping units bit more than numbers shown or declared but i know of 3 more with tickets who should be camping with us? Im sure their will be plenty of room and IF several more want to come , they have been good enough to say to let them know a min week before the show and they will give us more space. With regard to line up?? Ive been told if we want to show as a club line up, we can go down to the show arena on Saturday , this is informal just to let people see your vans no prizes BUT if you want to be in the Main show and shine WITH PRIZES ,go to main arena on the Sunday and book in anyone welcome even non vw but querky. So those that do need to get out of camping area for this?? let me know and we can try and make it easier with the camping for these vans that are showing to get out etc.Hope this all sounds ok to you all. If im not doing anything right here do tell me as im a newbie ;D and have just tried to help get everyone together for this one , and had the contact with the show boys who have been very helpful, big thanks to them( Anton Darren and Jon).Looking forward to this ,should be good ,see you all in a few weeks.Cheers Barney

Just a thought re Brands/ camping , dont forget we cant get in till 4pm at hopfarm and organisers have been warned about queing earlier because its major road??, not sure for certain if we will be able to make Brands and camp pending what time we get back from hols on wed s and any other personal developements :-.Just remember to say you are with TLB WHEN YOU GO IN EVERYONE, if their should be any significant increase in who wants to go and camp with TLB ie more than 3vans lol,then could they make sure they let someone on here whos about the week before Know !! poss mod whos going who can mail Darren at grill n chill site and tell him "thelatebay" would like to increase by X if poss please. I've decided now that I'm off to Brands hatch & then this, I'm not sure if my wife can get time off work & my helicopter is broken at the moment . Me & my 2 year old Leah will come on our own if she can't come.
