Thursday the stream became blocked and red gate area got flooded that's where most of the pictures came from
The stream was cleared and the area drained over night
I was on site Saturday and Sunday and it was mostly ok with some mud on the edges of the road ways where the traffic was driving around.
I am going back in site today so will update
Over the last few years they have done a lot of drainage works and put in lots of stone roads

  9. I have to say this, and I may be the only one, But this just doesn't appeal to me. I like live music by the thought of being a in a crowded field full of drunk possibly even drugged up people with rubbish toilet facilities and mega expensive food is not my thing

  10. You could do it like Glamping via this field there or go in your bay to solve a couple of those issues. There is also meant to be plenty of Food for a Fiver Options as well but will let you know how I find my first Glastonbury and hoping they have some pulled pork ciabattas like you did at Techenders

  12. A little in the dark this morning ! Up at 5.30am and ready to go at 7.00am all breakfasted up ! Only had a 30 min drive left BUT been advised not to set off due to gridlocked roads even the locals are stuck from gettin to and from work. Any updates appreciated if you are fortunate to be on site ?

More rain in the night so it's hard getting on to the site
The camping fields are ok but the rest of the site is a bit of a mess and work is slow so there will not be much to see

Just spoke to someone who came in a camper this morning 9hours to get on site
The crews worked all night to try and get the fields ready but there's quite a backlog

  17. What always amuses me is the photos of all the rich kids arriving in their expensive wellies. Next week we can see the photos of all the abandoned tents sleeping bags and other stuff deemed no longer usable in our throw away society.

Just seen in the media a photo of a mother taking her child there, is it really the place for a two year old.

I always thought that it had got too big and that I had missed my chance to go. However, I thought I may as well try for tkts last year, as it won't get smaller and I'd like to experience it once.

I loved it! I tried for tkts this year but failed. Tho not that into this years music.
Didn't see many folk completely wasted. Maybe as we were on sedate camper van field, and were in bed when others out partying

  19. Is camper van field our of the way and quite sensible then?
