Giving Blood

Sat giving blood right now, anyone else saving lives today (or any other day)?

 

i dont give , i do sell it however ....

 

they dont want mine do you still get a cup of tea and a biscuit

 

good on you...enjoy your rich tea and brew afterwards

 

I managed 3 mint club biscuits, 1 penguin and a cup of tea. Oh, and saved a life too!

 

We aren't allowed to over here.

 

I have Haemochromatosis so I regularly have 500ml taken from me. Depending how high my ferritin levels are it could be as much as 1 x 500ml per week.

Gets chucked in the bin though. Been doing this for 5yrs now.

Mad cows, the yanks don't won't it either but then I wasn't going to offer it them.

 

You must be running on empty by now.

 

Believe me, everyday I feel like poop.....very hard going.

 

I imagine it must be very difficult.

 

French don't like foreign blood ,I have a customer who travels to England to give blood ,I was over my 50th pint before moving...

 

They won't have mine due to past minor indiscretions and were very rude about it too, I'm surprised anyone manages to fight through the red tape. There's F-all wrong with me, I should have just lied.

 

They don't want mine, lived too long in Africa.

They give mine to tramps, it warms them up in the winter.

 

I've signed up last week and first session in Feb.... A meaningful New Years resolution! The nipper has had 2 transfusions since he was born and it made me realise how important this is

 

Mine is A or Asomething so needed.

 

my wife gives blood on a regular basis but always gets messed about with times and dates and is considering packing it in, you wouldn't think they needed it.
I don't but I carry a donor card and can use everything if I cop it, if I'm brown bread I wont need it.......
