I recently needed to change the fuse on my power control unit and when I removed the fuse holder it just crumbled into bits. Cant find one anywhere as the unit is really old ,was wondering if any electrical people could source any ? Cant change the fuse older itself as the unit is riveted. heres the replacement I'm looking at (cant see the holder though) would this fit? http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/panel-mount-fuse-holders/3595949/
the glass fuse will pull out of the holder if you measure the length and the rating stamped on the metal ring and i can send you one or you should be able to pick them up in halfords or b&q
for the fuse holder one of these might fit http://www.maplin.co.uk/20mm-panel-mount-fuseholder-4223 http://www.maplin.co.uk/20mm-panel-mount-fuseholder-4223
Cheers matty ,got one from maplins but it was a screw fit and I need baynot fit and cannot replace the whole unit as its rivited ,so need to find the exact holder size as the picture.
This one any good do you know the make of panel http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/ca...8900/zig_fuse_holder_for_20mm_glass_fuse.aspx
If the fuse holder just crumbled like that, is the power control unit itself still safe to use? Perhaps you ought to replace the whole unit. Just a thought.
