    If the rumours are true Honda have cracked the problem and sprung 200hp out of the engine....

    Although Honda deny that the gain is anything like that much.
    As for Crashtor, good riddance he's been out of his depth since day one & if it wasn't for the dollars from PVDSA he'd have been out a long time ago.

    True, but as testing starts next month that's when the new thread will open.

  15. I would be surprised if they hadn't got within half a second of the lead cars and even be on a par with Renault... It doesn't appear that secrets are that well kept in F1!!

    I'm actually surprised that the Honda engine was such a dog last year! Did they not have a chance to look at the 2014 merc engine in the back of the McLaren?

    I don't think it was engine as much as software and the engine recovery unit thingy they were struggling to get to work together

    Didn't Honda admit that they'd made the storage cells too small & that was why they were so down on power, basially it ran out of charge before the end of most of the straights.

    Something along those lines yes, they were running with virtually no electrical assistance so fast tracks killed them but slow ones showed the car in essence to be fairly decent
