Ricardo could turn out to be a great driver.

Unfortunately I doubt he'll be given a chance to shine. He'll just end up as another subservient Aussie, he'll be wrapped up so tightly in a 'Barrichello' type contract, which he has probably been on since he was first picked up by RBR. It was interesting last week when the forehead king (Horner) said that these guys were already RBR drivers on loan to STR.

It would have been good to see Vettel up against a 'proper' driver.

 

so, what do we expect today? i'm hoping for a vettel slip up to keep the championship alive, i think if he wins again today it's done and dusted, i'm hoping lewis pulls something out of the hat but it looks to me like he's got his personal issues going on again...... i have a feeling mclaren may have their best race of the season today, well fingers crossed anyway, also hope massa has a good race - the poor lad is obviously driving for his seat at the moment and it's hard to dislike him.

 

Hopefully Felipe will have a good race, he deserves it but unless something drastic happens I reckon it'll be Vettel again

 

felipe is alonso's barrechello to schumi...... a loyal driver is hard to find, i think alonso has thrown his toys out with the kimi story........ he wants his pet to stay.

 

I'd have to agree Felipe is the new Rubinho, loyal to a fault. He had his chance when Hamilton won the championship on the last couple of corners in Rio a few years ago.

 

i'd put money on webber doing something non corporate friendly before the end of the season........ just to payback the 2-1 call a while ago..... well i hope so anyway, webber is one of the last drivers with his own mind.

yep, just announced the fuel system is being worked on and will be touch and go to get to the grid.

 

Pretty much as expected.
Shame Webber had to start short shifting, had the gearbox lasted he may have got Alonso in the last few maps.

 

it seems the fans are getting bored of vettel too, last 2 races plenty of boo's for him, lewis is proper down, women do funny things to a man...... nicole ain't all that he can take his pick, get over it.

Oh bum. I knew there was something I had to do today instead of watching Herbie movies. It's sort of F1. It has some racing in.

 

i used to be an f1 fanatic... been to 13 plus gps...

but these days i just wait to hear how vettal won...

maybe they will sort it out and get some proper racing again in the next few years..

Wasn't such a boring race this week, it you took out the first 3 or 4 cars it would have been a really good race.

 

F1 is getting so boring and predictable.
Why can't they say one set off tyres only and keep refuelling so they can go at it like hammer and tongs.
Chuck a few rocket launchers into the equation just to add excitement.

 

It has become predictable again, but the stability in the rules was never going to change that. I sincerely hope that the new rules do a bit more to spice things up next year... at least a few turbos imploding and leaving debris all over the track

 

DRS does me head in. I know it gives more overtakes but just makes it fake. Alonso's move on the 1st or 2nd on lap on Webber was brilliant

 

They need to get rid off all the mammy pammby bits and get back to good old fashioned driver skills, stop all this live telemetry, your Front Right tyre is going down, short shift in 4&5 th gear, let the driver make the shout if vettal didn't know could have he blown the gearbox/ engine. That would spice things up a bit.
