You can't go to the tip because you need a permit. I may know where to get hold of one ;)

I think it's one a month - but they didn't take one off me last time I went, just said make sure you have one with you.

  9. So have you been out in it yet

  10. Just don't crash and kill someone. That could get messy.

6ft height restriction at my local tip! I took a shed down yesterday and had to put the roof rack on the golf. Stoopid.

Been working and visiting a chiropractor today but did manage to buy some temporary adhesive white backing plates and some black letters and numbers , I'll be out in it tomorrow ;)

  12. Mines going for an mot tomorrow on Australian plates,

Insurance company have insured it on chassis number but have told me it can only be used for mot only and a pre booked one at that.

Saying that tho I drove round on german plates for a few weeks when I had a westy. Maybe the law has changed or the
Fact that the westy was from Europe.

  13. The law is it needs to be insured in the country where it's registered I think.

If you are at all worried , then give your insurance company a call and find out if it's ok ...if say you did have an accident , don't give them the chance to wriggle out .

The insurance would say it's definitely not oK and the police would say the same, the vehicle basically doesn't exist in any country at the moment.
I've not got any real intention of using it till it's sorted its just not worth it for a couple more weeks.
This year is a write off for me and bus events :(
