  13. On a serious note and ignoring the rabble above I have a grammar question. When is it correct to use ; please explain by way of an example.

    In all fairness its a forum , if we have a go at people for bad punctuation it could easily deter them from posting , a awful lot of people are embarassed by their writing and have to pluck up the courage to post .

    In my opinion a lot of the better threads/ posts are put up by people who either choose to ignore punctuation or have poor writing skills , they definitely brighten the place up so i choose never to dwell on that area of the post , after all we are ALL guilty of some errors .

    When i sit down and write a chapter or two of my book i take the time to get it right , on here its doesn't matter !.
