  3. Yep but do you need to hit them hard i just spent a week getting all the dents out from someone else

  4. What kind of attachment points are on the wheels? The usual pressed humps? Are the hub caps actually for a Bay?

They take a good bash because they have to be tight to stay on. Once you've done one you will be more confident. position it so as the last lug is just showing and the rest aren't then wack it very hard and firm with the side of your clenched fist. Pop , it's on.

  11. I forget who now but someone told me they fitted there's with alcohol hand gel. Apparently it lubricates just enough for the last bit but then evaporates, so they don't slip off.

    So many innuendo's.

What poptop said. Then use the wire removal tool to get them off afterwards rather than levering them off with a screwdriver.
It fits into the two tiny holes and I use a long extension bar through the finger hole of the tool and lever the hubcap off with the end of the extension bar against the tyre.
If you squat down in front of the wheel the hubcap when it springs off will land neatly in your lap so it doesn’t get scratched by hitting the floor.

    They shouldn’t need a mallet...
