fitting 34ict dual today ..any helpful tips please

Youre not the only one bud when i got mine in 08 fuel economy was awful!! It was only when i discovered reason was the pipe from the tank underneath was so perished fuel was dripping onto the drive!

 

Out of 10 lt chucked in last month...its not run ......i got 3 lts out the tank ...7lts evaped thru perished pipe and the smallest drip u ever did see......i should take a pic of the pipe for the vw museum....orignal crap i think ...just been cut to chuck a fuel fliter in ...and new pipe added to engine bay end....bodge job by whoever done it ...not even fuel clipped in ........looool jokez

 

Think you've had that bus long enough for that to have become your responsibility Jonnnnny?
It won't be original pipe though - probably JK stuff.

 

Its not jk ....it old material with rubber inside...ala 70,s pipe...im sure its orignal tho bruv...yes im the owner...im responseable now...shame whoever done it last bodged the fuel filter mod...as im responseable ...i took the engine and renewingthe lot now....as long as me cts is cool

 

That's what JK sell and everyone moans about - cotton over-braided rubbish... wasn't winding you up this time.
