We are home. We stopped twice on the way back and the bus started first time so looks like replacing that half fried electronic ignition module has cured my hot start problem. Thanks Chris @Lasty for your advice and help. looks like it's done the trick so glad I didn't tinker with my carb as the bus is running sweet now
Home. Got stuck for an hour on the A14 as they had closed one junction. Looking forward to September.
Thanks for a lovely weekend as always everyone.... and even the sun shone for us! Big thanks to Phil, Paul and Ian for the anti roll bar fettling. Clem certainly handled very nicely on the way home, .....although that could've just been the nicely inflated tyres!! Doh. If any of it helped with the 3mpg increase from the journey up to the journey home then I'm well happy Hope to catch up with a few of you over the summer, and then let's do this all over again in September! Thanks you lovely people x
Fortunately you missed me.. Unlike other unlucky souls.. Especially those who did the foodless walk to the pub.. @Ozziedog
I think you were there when I arrived but didn't realise you were disappearing so quickly or I'd have wandered down straight away Next time.....
The mpg improvement was almost certainly due to the correctly inflated tyres Either that or you drove slower in case the anti roll bar fell off......
Thanks for a lovely weekend everyone, good to meet and catch up. I must sincerely apologise for tripping up and falling onto a table sending beers flying. I am very sorry to those affected and also Eddie and crew for having to clear up. I'm most ashamed. A big thank to those helping fix my throttle cable @davidoft @mikedjames et al. I was able to cruise comfortably at 70 no problem with some reserve as well. @Ozziedog . And Co
A great weekend, an epic Fire Table and then drinking progressively less every evening. Taking a slower route home.
Great weekend Guys and Gals, nice to see everyone. Thanks Davidoft for tweaking my sliding door. I was last but one to leave today, glorious sunshine
We had a blast. Hope the dogs didn't drive you barmy. Or my persistent coughing See you all at Keith's field Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Thank you all for your company and friendship. We kept ourselves pretty much to our selves but it was comforting being somewhere familiar with familiar faces bobbing in for a quick hello. Huge thanks to @Razzyh for initiating early on-set diabetes with all the cakes, pastries and flapjack that he and Ellie forced us to eat! And to @pkrboo for allowing me to assist with the jobs, some of which quite frankly should have been done years ago! x It seems that Keith's Field may well be on our calendar so that gives me 3 months to be less reclusive
