favourite road in the bus

thinking of summer , when we travel to Dorset it's great to get off the duel carriage ways and motorways, no pressure, I love the A30 though Sutton Scotney heading towards Salisbury, part of its arrow straight, great scenery and little villages..ahhh summer already, anybody got a piece of road which you and your bus loves...

 

Camden high street in nw london. On a weekend afternoon. When you drive down this you get a lot of attention and photos taken.

Funny how it makes the goths smile as this is a rare sight. Not a nice drive as it is always full of traffic and crazy people. And near home when coming back from friends house in angel.

This is one of mine going round Lake Como last year we were running tight to the cliff as the motorbikes were making a third lane between the cars, it was brilliant it was 40 degs on a beautiful Sunday morning heading down to lake Garda,

Any road with some decent bends in it!!

 

Any road that doesn't have gale force cross-winds on it! So NOT the M4 going past Port Talbot, for example......

 

This one's always a challenge.....

 

you can't beat going up a great big hill with a bit of Ska playing.

I think Madge our aussie bay was from NSW area as she still has a RAC sticker with NSW on it and when we first had her found a leaflet from Victoria but for the life of me I can't remember where I put it..wonder if she ever ventured along this stretch.

 

jammy only if she left here in the last few years. They built this after part of the old road fell off the cliff face

 

That would be the Atlantic road on the west cost

A262 West from Petersfield towards Winchester. A sequence of long fast bends through countryside. Also loved by bikers, although not all of them make it to the end.
