It was nice catching up with the BBC coverage (now in free HD) and not sitting around through the red flag :D

Was out doing some karting his morning instead with a bunch of idiots who didn't know how to pass... insisted on playing bumper cars and using others as brakes into the corners!

Bit like Jensons non-pass on Karthekayen!!

At least JB had the decency to admit that it was his mistake

  10. What's up with Rosberg? Schumie, Vettel and Button all had incidents, so at least we can understand why they did so badly, position-wise. And Massa is rubbish, so no questions over his poor form need to be raised. But what about Rosberg? He had no incidents and still only managed 13th! In a car which, allegedly, is supposed to have the fastest straight line speed, thank to the super-duper F-duct rear wing thing, or whatever it is (to me it seems more like a system designed to kill the tyres). That said, we didn't exactly see the highest top speed applying to Schumie's car either. If the Mercs were set up to do well in qualifying only, then that might explain it. But on Saturday, Schumie said he was happy with 3rd because the car had been set up for full race conditions only, not quali.

So, what's with Rosberg? Why's he all of a sudden the clear Number 2, in Schumie's shadow? And what's with the Merc? Yes, it's a step forward. But it isn't the car, in race trim, we were all lead to believe.

  12. Just whilst we're waiting for the next race, thought I'd pop this in to keep you amused - it's had me sniggering all morning, wish it was real ^-^

  14. Schumie quickest in China Friday Practice, 13 April. With Lewis likely to get a 5-place gearbox change penalty, there's a high chance Schumie could clinch pole tomorrow. That said, Merc's race-distance tyre degradation problem still looks like it's not fully sorted.

My dream though: Schumie's last and 91st win came in China in 2006. The 92nd win will come on Sunday. If it weren't for the tyre problem, that win would have been very likely. Whatever. It's a matter of time.

I can't see Schumacher taking poll, I reckon it'll be a McLaren (probably Hamilton) that takes it.
Personally I'd like to see Webber do it. ;D

Hamilton to take pole, Button promoted from second... then Redbulls. I think button will struggle under the threat of Redbull during the race, while Hamilton will spend most of it all over the back of the two mercs! Should be fun.

    Is it due to rain?

  17. Don't forget. If McClaren change Lewis' gearbox tonight or tomorrow (which they admit there's a 99% chance of happening), he'll take a 5-place grid penalty for Sunday's race. Yes, if it hadn't been for that, he'd be the favourite for pole. But with Lewis' likely gearbox change and Button currently suffering from understeer, that surely makes Schumie favourite to take pole?

As for Red Bull; I just love it when Webber beats Vettel. I feel Red Bull treated Webber pretty badly last year, all because they favoured Vettel. Not much between 'em at all this year. Go Mark! Show us some true Aussie grit.

Rain is unlikely over the weekend.
