I used to watch F1 and thought it was a great sport  How wrong I was, I saw a picture the other day of a indian woman and her two kids cleaning and picking stones off the new indian track for maybe a few pounds a day, We sit here and love these new tracks in places like india and bahrain while the people starve  great innit, nice new track and the drivers on millions of pounds a year love it and it looks great on tele, while the locals cant even get tickets because its from another world, bernie ecclestone was slagging silverstone off the other year because it did'nt match up to these places and nearly went to Donnington till he realised they could'nt match what he wanted, The people of bahrain were never allowed near the race incase they spoilt the illusion of normallity in there country, why do we support it, never mind its good sport innit

  10. I think the quality of a country is based on how it treats or looks after it's people.

I would rather live in country that looks after our workforce and doesn't exploit them. China as the biggest economy at the expense of a majority of their people. The UK does not do this. It has a good standard of living for most. Even the poorest in this country are probably in less poverty than a lot of people in India and China.

The point I was trying to make that we all benefit from the misfortune of these people in the developing world, F1 is just one of these and to criticise F1 would mean having to criticise a lot of our standards and norms.
