When you realise there’s now more notch than joist. Surely you stop chiselling?

He had to get those rad pipes in somehow.

 

Simple really. I walked around the house and wasn’t able to find anything requiring me to suck through my teeth, or tut or even give a slight eye roll.

I can’t have that. So I nipped to the van and got the chop saw out a bit sharpish.

thankfully I’ve stretched this boiler service to three days now. That was a close call. I nearly only got paid for what they’d booked me for.

 

Why you notched the joists out then run the Hep tube under them.
