Based on the performance last night, had Ukraine won 2-1, or had it at least been a draw, I would have said that was a fair reflection of each team's performance. Certianly, in the first half, England were rubbish and out-classed by a so-called weaker opposition. It really is same old, same old. I've watched England play for 30 years now and they always seem to dissappoint. Why is that, when we have such great Premiership players? Nowadays I find myself thinking 'why do I bother watching this, I just know I'm gonna feel let down by the end of it'. Based on last night's performance, I expect Italy to beat us easily on Sunday.
England play best when they are up against it. We have a very good chance of getting to the final now
I'm a Fulham fan so am Roy biased. When was the last time we topped a group, exciting football or not ?
