Starting tonight with Poland v Greece I've never known a tournament with such low expectations from England fans. Normally i'm one of those who are full of optimism, but sadly not this time... lets hope i'm wrong I'm going to be a little bold and go against the Spanish to win.... I think ze Germans may have it ??? any predictions?
Yeah, I predict all the media's shameful and wholly misguided slating of Ukraine, the country and people, will prove totally unfounded by the end of the tournament. Yes, the current political Ukrainian leaders are rubbish and corrupt, but that doesn't mean all the other 'normal' folk are. I own a flat in Kiev and regularly go there so I know it well. England to win, by the way.
Tickets are available and not too badly priced €145 for Sweden game, but flight prices for a next Friday are expensive

It is strange isn't it? normally we'd have a had at least a month of media driven hype, but there's been nothing really. I've said for the last 10 years that england aren't technically good enough to win a tournament and hardly anyone agreed but now everyone seems to have come round to my way of thinking, so I'm going to be contrary and say england have a better chance this time than in any tournament since '96. we just need to be realistic and not try to play football. do a chelsea and park the bus, then try and hit them on the counter attack. ;D Germany or Holland for the win. France as the outsiders.
Park the bus, play anti-football, struggle out of our group and then go out to the first decent team we play, as per usual. Looking forward to the two matches tonight though.
