Eskdale Dubfest 15/16/17 April 2016

Just got news back for Martyn at Eskdale campsite that next years dates for Eskdale Dubfest at Boot are 15/16/17 April.

Bookings now open for next year as apparently the Caravan and camping club have now changed the times for future bookings.

Bookings are starting to come in aparently according to the site.

 

This sounds really nice, could be the first real outing of the restored campervan. I might book just in case!

 

It's been a good break last two years. Especially if you like a drop of malt

 

Hopefully the weather will be like last year and not 2014.

Cheers for this. I will check with the boss and see if we can get across but I will be going the not so hilly route to Eskdale this time!

 

what's this event like for families? It would most likely be our first run out in molly, any advice on family friendly gatherings greatly appreciated

 

loads of families there last years, at one count 20 young'un s were on the trampoline all having fun......
small gauge railway just down the road for trips down to the coast and back.
the facilities of the site are high standard(showers/toilets)

 

oh great stuff, kids will need entertainment it would be great to have an opportunity to meet some guys off the forum

 

For the first time in a couple of years i am not working on the Eskdale weekend, so will be trying to book in the morning.

Bring? The pub has over 100 of them.

 

Eskdale is stunning site and a nice little get together but don't even think about or consider going on the train, it goes to the most depressing place on planet earth ,You will end up on a watch list somewhere or you'll just do yourself in before you're put on one
