Eskdale Dubfest 15/16/17 April 2016

It's the weekend before Techenders which I want to do this time and I'm in Spain the weekend after that so can't do 3 on the trot sadly.

 

We're booked !! Will be our first TLB event, might even be our first stop over in the bus.

 

still no engine built so I'm out.....
I might pop up to see you all but I have to wait and see whats happening...
a little advice would be to pack some wellies as its been raining since November.............

 

If anyone has anything that can be used as a raffle prize then bring it along. I'm taking a few VW books and a camper DVD.

 

Just drove to work past Eskdale, its -1DegC and there's snow in them thar hills!! Bring plenty of Winter woollies, hope it warms up before the weekend! I will bring a couple of raffle prizes Zeb!

 

Looking forward to the Eskdale Dubfest this weekend, passed through there tonight and it's wetter than an Otters pocket! but not too cold. On Saturday does anyone fancy a shortish Hill walk up the Esk valley to Lincove bridge or to Stanley Gyhll? pub stop on way back of course! Looking forward to meeting all those going.

 

A walk would be good. Looking forward to another trip to Eskdale

I reckon quite a few won't turn up - happened last time it was cold and damp.

 

A bit risky unless they've officially cancelled.

 

id be surprised tbh if all actually turn up. give em a call. (wheres the waiting list, wont be many that would go up there at the last minute!)

 

^ This Or wait until Saturday and see how it is. We are staying Sunday night too so hoping to go for a long walk on Sunday and come back to a nearly empty campsite and pub.

No way I'm going to drive up on Saturday, half the weekend would be gone/spent driving.

I can see your point tbh id be looking at driving up today or tomorrow. Its quite a hike!

 

215 miles from here. Ok if I was booked in. If t'boat deal was complete, which it almost mght be, I'd be half way there.
